  • Winter CSA Week 13

    Hello CSA Members!

The final week of Winter CSA is here. It’s been a long time coming. I’ve loved seeing old faces from the summer and fall and some new faces this winter. CSA is such a rewarding part of farming because it reminds you of the end goal- to share beautifully grown vegetables with the community. All the hard work during the season truly pays off when we see the joy fresh produce brings to people.

Sign-ups for our Summer/Fall 2025 CSA will be available soon on our website! You can sign up now to be notified when memberships become available.

We would love to see you in May. Thanks for a great season!

Here is what we hope to bring you during Week 13:

1 – Leeks or Winter Radishes
    2 – Carrots
    3 – Potatoes
    4 – Turnips or Rutabaga

  • Winter CSA Week 11

    Hello CSA Members!

There’s snow on the ground and it’s chilly outside, but we still have a lot left to bring you at CSA pick-up. Winter is a good time to reflect on the past season, think about what we can improve, and look forward to the next farming season.

Butternut squash is back this week! It’s one of my favorite winter squashes. I love just about any squash or root veggie roasted, but especially butternut, on it’s own or thrown into a salad or pasta dish.

Here is what we hope to bring you during Week 11:

1 – Leeks or Winter Radishes
2 – Hakurei Turnips or Purple Top Turnips or Carrots
    3 – Beets or Potatoes

  • Winter CSA Week 8

    Hello CSA Members!

At this point in the Winter CSA, I’ve accumulated a few different root veggies in my fridge, and I’m sure you have to. I’m thinking I’ll make a soup or just a big mixed root veggie roast this weekend. Someone told me yesterday at pick-up that they had made a mash of a few different root veggies that we’ve had at CSA- rutabaga, celeriac, and sunchokes. Keep sharing recipes! It makes my day to hear how you’ve enjoyed your veggies.

Just a reminder, we will not have CSA pick-up the week of the 23rd due to the holidays. See you next week or in a few weeks. Happy holidays!

Here is what we hope to bring you during Week 8:

1 – Leeks or Onions or Shallots
    2 -Potatoes or Rutabaga

  • Winter CSA Week 7

    Hello CSA Members!

We are already halfway through our Winter CSA. Can you believe it? It’s going by so fast. I hope you’ve enjoyed these delicious veggies.

We will have winter radishes again this week! You can do so much with them- cut or shave them thin to put in a salad or tacos, pickle them, or even roast them how you would roast turnips. So much potential. And the color will make any dish pop.

Here is what we hope to bring you during Week 7:

1 – Leeks or Onions or Shallots
2 -Radishes or Chile de Arbol or Parsley
    3 – Turnips or Carrots
4 – Potatoes or Rutabaga or Celeriac
5 – Beets or Acorn Squash
    6 – Salad greens
    7 – Cooking greens

  • Winter CSA Week 6

    Hello CSA Members!

We had CSA pick-up just in time before the snow hit this week. It couldn’t have been better timing. Part of the reason why I love Winter CSA is the beautiful greens we have throughout. They are such a treat. When I’m lacking inspiration for cooking with them, I try to change it up or go back to old recipes I’ve loved that I haven’t made in awhile.

One of those recipes is a lemony pasta with chard and parmesan. It’s a delicious, simple weeknight meal that comes together in under 30 minutes.

We’re grateful for all of your support. Happy Thanksgiving! See you next week.

Here is what we hope to bring you during Week 6:

1 – Leeks or Onions or Shallots
    2 -Radishes or Roasted Chilies
3 – Turnips or Carrots or Beets

    5 – Salad Greens
6 – Chard or Collards or Kale
7 – Honeynut Squash or Potatoes

  • Winter CSA Week 5

    Hello CSA Members!

Many of you have been asking what to do with rutabaga. It is great roasted, added to mashed potatoes, or in soup. I always love to roast a bunch of root veggies and add them to a salad with some goat cheese, nuts, and a simple dressing.

Just a reminder again- this week’s pick-up will be on Tuesday since Thanksgiving is on Thursday! See you at pick-up.
