We are now taking applications for our 2021 season! (Posted 7/13/21)
Why become a Working CSA Member on Red Wagon Farm? You’ll gain a better understanding of how Red Wagon works and how we get food to our community. You’ll be an integral part of our crew to make it all happen!
You can choose to be a part of our Farm Crew or our CSA Crew. As part of the Farm Crew, you will mostly be harvesting vegetables. But you will also do some weeding, processing the harvest, or other farm tasks. You’ll work at both of our farm locations. The main farm is on N 63rd St (near Coot Lake and IBM) and our other location is on Valmont Road near 75th St. You will work either 6 am to 9 am or 9 am to noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
As part of our CSA Crew you will help distribute veggies at one of our 3 CSA pickup locations in Boulder: Nevei Kodesh in North Boulder on Tuesdays, Martin Park in South Boulder on Wednesdays, or the Boulder JCC in East Boulder on Thursdays. Your shift will be from 3 pm to 6 pm.
We are looking for people who will commit to one regular weekly shift. You must be able to commit to working through the end of the farm season at the end of October. For each 3-hour shift you work, you earn credit towards one week of CSA veggies. You can apply this towards a 2021 Summer CSA Veggie Share, a 2021-2022 Winter CSA Veggie Share, or a 2022 Summer CSA Veggie Share.
We are starting small with a limited number of Working CSA Members. You will come work with us for one trial shift before you commit to the rest of the season. Please fill out our application and you’ll hear from us soon!
