Working CSA Members

Waitlist as of 5/6/22 – We are still looking for a few people to be part of our CSA Crew. However, we are currently not taking anymore people to help on our Farm Crew. Please fill out the application if you’d like to be notified if we start taking more Farm Crew members.

Why become a Working CSA Member on Red Wagon Farm? You’ll gain a better understanding of how Red Wagon works and how we get food to our community. You’ll be an integral part of our crew to make it all happen!

You can choose to be a part of our Farm Crew or our CSA Crew. As part of the Farm Crew, you will mostly be harvesting vegetables. But you will also do some weeding, processing the harvest, or other farm tasks. You’ll work at all three of our farm locations. The main farm is on N 63rd St (near Coot Lake and IBM), one is at 1640 W Baseline Rd, Lafayette (Thomas Open Space) and our final location is on Valmont Road near 75th St. You will work either 6 am to 9 am or 9 am to noon on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.

As part of our CSA Crew you will help distribute veggies at one of our 3 CSA pickup locations in Boulder: Nevei Kodesh in North Boulder on Tuesdays, Martin Park in South Boulder on Wednesdays, Thomas Open Space farm in Lafayette on Wednesdays,or the Boulder JCC in East Boulder on Thursdays. Your shift will be from 3 pm to 6 pm.

We are looking for people who will commit to one regular weekly shift. Working members will start at the end of April or sometime in May. You must be able to commit to working through the end of the farm season at the end of October. For each 3-hour shift you work, you earn credit towards one week of CSA veggies.

We are starting small with a limited number of Working CSA Members. You will come work with us for one trial shift before you commit to the rest of the season. Please fill out our application and you’ll hear from us soon!
